After spending the afternoon in Malibu we met with a couple of friends from our Lamaze class. It was fun to see all the kids together! They have all gotten so big and cute! The parents all were able to catch up and share stories. We are going to try to get together more frequently. There was even talk about when the next babies were coming! Yikes!!!

On Saturday my friend Allie invited us to her parents beach house in Malibu. It was a beautiful day! We were able to see lots of stars!!! It was really exciting!!! Ethan had a really great time and he was able to play with Dylan. He liked pulling on Dylan's clothes it was really cute. In a couple of months the boys should be able to play together. My friends and I walked down the beach and passed Matthew and his friends playing Frisbee and he said "Hi" to us!!!

On Sunday, my brother Brian proposed to his girlfriend Christy! We are so happy for the both of them. I am so excited to finally have a sister after all these years!

6 Months

Ethan is 6 months old! On Tuesday we went Ethan's 6 month checkup everything is going well, he did a good job with the shots. His stats are: 15 pounds 8 ounces (15% percentile) and 16 1/4 inches long (47% percentile). He did go down from the 30% to 15% in weigh so the doctor wants me to start feeding him a little more. But everything went really well and we can now start on veggies and fruits. He had peas and seemed to like them, although he made funny faces. Next is green beans! Yum! Ethan is learning to sit up all by himself and can pass toys between both of his hands. He is really happy and just enjoying looking around and getting attention. He loves to watch the dogs, he even laughs at them!

New Discovery

For weeks now Ethan has been grabbing his feet and playing with them. However, tonight when giving him a bath he has discovered his toes. Ethan pulled them to his mouth and was sucking on them. It was really funny, he was concentrating really hard as you can see! Tomorrow he will be six months old! I will give you and update on Tuesday after the doctor's appointment.

How can you sleep when the Dodger's are winning????

On Monday we all went to the Dodger game, it was Ethan's first game. We had a great time, but when we were walking up to the stadium I feel and skinned my knees. Thank goodness I was not holding Ethan. So I was bruised and bleeding, but I was fine. Ethan loved watching the big scoreboard, he didn't really watch the game. He really wanted to have nachos, hot dog, and beer. When we were eating he was opening his mouth and lunging toward any food item. I think we have a hungry boy on our hands. We are going to be starting veggies here in a couple of weeks. But the Dodger's won 8-2, Ethan is our good luck charm! Ethan does not like loud noises like when people are shouting and screaming. I felt bad for the poor guy! He finally fell asleep in Daddy's lap.

Big Boy

Our big boy is now eating in his highchair. He looks so cute in it! Ethan loves being able to sit up and look around at what it happening around him. The highchair on wheels, so we can take it around the house. I like taking him in the kitchen with me while I am cooking, he liked to see what was going on. Ethan is able to roll over, however if you ask Larrs' mom she will say he doesn't. He started rolling over from his tummy to his back for a couple of days. But has not done it since! Ethan is learning to sit up, but has some trouble. He loves putting everything he can get his hands on in his mouth.

Ethan and Aunt Christy

Last weekend we all went down to Aliso Viejo and visited Uncle Brian and Aunt Christy in their new apartment. We also we able to see my aunt and uncle while we were down. Cousin Becky and Norm came and we went out to lunch for Becky's birthday. When we got back to Brian and Christy's we decided it was hot so we needed to go in the pool. Ethan loved it! He was kicking his feet the whole time, he especially loved the spa.

Last week Ethan and I went and met a few of the girls from the Lamaze class. It was really great to catch up with them and see the babies. Boy have they all gotten big. We all told stories about what is going on with the kids. In a couple of weeks we have planned a BBQ at Makalah's house to get together with all the hubbies. We are looking forward to that!

Father's Day

For Father's Day we had all the father's over for dinner. It was a really nice day, poor Larrs had to work on his first Father's Day. So when he got home we had a really nice dinner and then opened presents. Ethan got his daddy a massage so he can relax. Larrs mom bought him the book you see in the picture, it is really cute.

Exersaucer Time

Ethan has been having so much fun in his Exersaucer. He is able to stand in it and play with all the gadgets that on it. How cute is he!!!

A Visit with the Jewett's

On our trip we stopped in Prescott, Arizona and met with Larrs' godparent's. I was nice to meet them, we were able to stay two days and visit. They just loved Ethan! Dominique fed Ethan his rice cereal and even sang to him. They also gave Larrs and I a beautiful antique loveseat from the 1800's, it is so beautiful. We put it in our living room.
